Greene County Comm School District recently issued the following announcement.
On Friday, November 19, the 6th-grade class celebrated Heroes Day. In their literacy class, they have been reading about and studying heroes, as well as brainstorming qualities that make up a hero.
Each student chose one person in their life that met these qualities, wrote a letter to this person, and invited them to school to hear their letters. We had a wonderful time celebrating so many fantastic heroes. Thank you to all who attended, as well as to all of the heroes here in Greene County.
