2021 has 2.3% of Carroll County residents unemployed

Carroll County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.3% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 254 people out of the 20,756 living in Carroll County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Carroll County has increased compared to the 1.9% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Carroll County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.9%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
