The annual Tree of Love is a great opportunity for us to come together as a community to kick off the holiday season. It is a way for the community to honor their loved ones, living or deceased. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us for this special event.
Order forms for the ornaments are available for pick up at St. Anthony Coffee Shop, at the Home Health/Hospice office (located between Wolfe Eye Clinic and Iowa Heart), or by calling the Hospice office at 712-794-5279. If you are wanting your ornament hung on the trees for the ceremony, the last day to order will be Thursday, November 3rd. If you would still like to purchase an ornament after the ceremony, the last day to order will be Wednesday, November 30th.
This year’s ornament will feature a beautiful butterfly. “Butterflies appear when angels are near.” The holidays can be a hard time for people who've experienced loss. It is our hope that the Tree of Love ceremony can bring some light into the holiday season that is just around the corner.
“Love is like a butterfly, beautiful and delicate. If you truly care for it, you’ll do whatever you can to make it happy, even if that means letting it go.”
