West Central Valley Community School District recently issued the following announcement.
We hope you join us as we celebrate National FFA Week! Here is a synopsis of what is happening throughout the week.
Monday – Anything but a Backpack Day – Bring your supplies in something other than a traditional backpack. Think: Rolling suitcase, cardboard box, tote, plastic bag, umbrella, etc.
Tuesday – FFA Pride – If you have an FFA shirt, please wear it! If you need one, we have random sizes from prior years. Come see me! — Elementary Activity – Shaynn Wahmann, Nevaeh Frank, Cierra Kinzie, Riley Saffeels, and Trinity Handy will be visiting with the 4th graders during 1st and 2nd hour. – We will be taking a chapter photo in the commons during Advisory. – Our chapter will be having a bowling & pizza party at the bowling alley at 4:30p.
Wednesday – Wear Blue & Gold- We have our sub-district contest in Mt. Ayr. Those competing will be sent in a separate meeting. We will leave at 8:45a and be gone all day.
Thursday – Dream about Ag – Wear your pajamas!
Friday – Farmer Friday – Dress like a farmer & Drive your tractor/farm vehicle to School
There will also be trivia questions in the announcements each day and guessing jars at lunch.
Winners will receive a prize! You are all welcome to participate in the FUN!
