CCMH Staff Honored at 2021 Healthcare Service Excellence Conference

Crawford County Memorial Hospital recently issued the following announcement.

Crawford County Memorial Hospital (CCMH) and staff were recently honored at the 21st Annual Night of Excellence Summit Awards Celebration in La Jolla, California. 

Two individuals and one team were the recipients of Pinnacle Achievement Awards and Summit Awards at the celebration.

The HealthCare Service Excellence Conference (HCSEC) is an annual event presented and organized by Custom Learning Systems Group Ltd.  In 2021, the HCSEC Summit Awards committee received over 240 nominations from healthcare organizations spanning 10 states. 68 of the nominees were chosen as Pinnacle Achievers, while only 19 went on to receive a Summit Award at the conference ceremony.

Pinnacle Award recipients from CCMH were Dr. Libby Ranniger, Customer Focused Physician; Erin Muck, Inspiring CEO/President; and an OASIS (Organizationally Advanced Service Improvement System) Team, whose projects focused on employee awards and recognition. Muck and the CCMH OASIS Team were Summit Award winners.

Summit Awards, the highest award of excellence presented at the HCSEC, are awarded to qualified, innovative, and progressive individuals, teams, and healthcare facilities who have made outstanding progress towards improving patient experience and staff engagement. 

Erin Muck, CCMH President and CEO, said, “It was truly an honor for CCMH to be recognized at the 2021 HCSEC! This recognition demonstrates our desire and ability to deliver high quality, patient-centered care in Crawford County.
