Audubon County Memorial Hospital recently issued the following announcement.
Audubon County Memorial Hospital and the Foundation joined with fellow community groups for Holiday Hometown. This past Saturday, the Agrihall was filled with holiday cheer as community members toured beautiful Christmas trees and enjoyed delicious snacks while the children had a visit from Santa!
Decorating their tree in traditional colors of red, gold, and silver, ACMH and the Foundation gave a nod to a by-gone era. Employees displayed vintage items including a black traveling doctor’s bag and glass cotton ball containers. Even a medical book dating back to 1873 was tucked into the tree.
Complete with a 1960’s nurse’s hat as a tree topper, this tree showcased the history of medicine and gave appreciation to those whose vision and dedication brought Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics to our county. Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Foundation wish everyone a very healthy and happy holiday season.
