Moose Lodge Donates Stuffed Animals to Children Receiving Care at St. Anthony

35

St Anthony Cancer Center recently issued the following announcement.

Carroll Moose Lodge members recently donated 18 stuffed moose to be given to children at St. Anthony Regional Hospital. The Tommy Moose program aids children to overcome fears and anxiety during times of stress and the toys are presented to children in various traumatic situations. The Tommy Moose character has grown to personify happiness, safety, and security through personal appearances, books, and on children's goods.

“This is a very thoughtful gift for sick and hospitalized children during the holiday season,” said Trish Roberts, Development Director. “Tommy Moose is a soft, cuddly toy that brings a happy smile to the faces of children and their parents.”
