Crawford County Memorial Hospital recently issued the following announcement.
Crawford County Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce Leah Trautman, DNP, ARNP, NP-C is now Leah Eck, DNP, ARNP, NP-C. The name change is a result of her recent marriage to Mr. Kelby Eck of Denison, IA. While her last name has changed, Mrs. Eck continues to accept new patients as well as see existing patients on the same schedule as before at CCMH.
Mrs. Eck is Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners licensed by the Iowa Board of Nursing. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Nurse Practitioner from Nebraska Methodist College in Omaha. Previously, she had received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) from Nebraska Methodist College as well.
The DNP designation is used by those providers who have achieved the Doctor of Nursing Practice. The ARNP designation signifies a graduate degree in advanced nursing practice. The NP-C designation refers to a Certified Nurse Practitioner. For each of these designations, there is required advanced education and training as well as certification at the state and federal levels.
Mrs. Eck consults with people of all ages and genders. Patients can call the CCMH Medical Clinic at (712) 265-2700 to schedule appointments.
