City of Arcadia issued the following announcement.
As you all know, our small town of Arcadia will be celebrating our 150th Birthday on Labor Day Weekend, Saturday September 4, 2021.
Just some of the activities planned are:
- A BIG parade starting at noon
- 5K run/walk
- Flag Raising at the City Park
- Old Fashioned Bingo for prizes
- Inflatables for the children
- putt-putt gold for everyone, antiques display
- face painting, a caricature artist, chainsaw carving
- barrel rides, petting zoo, childrens games
- car show, food and pie stand
- Beer & Liquor stand, bags tournament
- COW PIE BINGO, live & silent auctions
- Street dance featuring Arcadia's own Leah Preul and "Wild Ambition"
- games of chance for adults, fireworks
