Audubon County Memorial Hospital issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
The Audubon County Hospital Foundation’s Annual Giving Campaign for 2020 is well underway. Community contributions have helped make the Audubon County Memorial Hospital and Clinics become designated as one of the Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation several times over the past decade! The hospital administration and employees are grateful to the community for supporting our committed team of caregivers.
Your 2020 donations will help the Audubon County Hospital Foundation purchase a state-of-the-art Microdebrider for the Surgical Department and ENT specialist, Dr. Kyle Stansifer. This system will allow greater access and precision during procedures such as an Inferior Turbinate Reduction which corrects the patient’s nasal airflow. It will also be used to perform sinus surgeries, examinations of the larynx and throat, and other routine ENT procedures.
With the purchase of the microdebrider, ACMH would be able to offer these beneficial procedures to patients locally who are living with sinusitis and nasal polyps, in addition to other nasal and airway issues.
If you would like to support the ACHF by making a tax deductible contribution, please mail your donation to Audubon County Hospital Foundation, 515 Pacific Avenue, Audubon, IA 51531 or donate online via PayPal at www.acmhhosp.org.
