Manning Regional Healthcare Center issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.
The Recovery Center Counselor Tech is responsible for conducting group and therapeutic activities. This part-time position will conduct weekend group therapy, education/life skills lectures and provide individual counseling. The qualified individual must be able to respond appropriately to crisis situations and work within the limits as set by the Iowa Department of Public Health Licensure guidelines pertaining to substance abuse. Candidates must conform to Federal Rules of confidentiality protecting all patients and concerned persons from breeches of confidentiality, including obtaining a signed release covering oral, written or telecommunicated transfer of any patient information out of the Manning Recovery Center.
