Manning Regional Healthcare Center is excited to announce that orthopedic services will be offered at MRHC beginning July 17.
Thomas Atteberry, M.D. is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine. Dr. Atteberry will treat patients of all ages with knee, shoulder, ligament and tendon injuries as well as cartilage repair.
Specializing in sports injuries, Dr. Atteberry will focus on knee ACL reconstruction, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff tears and total knee replacements. Treatment to help with chronic and acute pain resulting from conditions such as joint pain and arthritis, muscle strains and tears, soft tissue injuries, meniscus tears, tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and tennis elbow will be part of his services as well.
Linn Block, RN, BSN, MHA, Manning Regional’s CEO, is excited to offer these orthopedic services to the area. “We are pleased to welcome Dr Atteberry to Manning Regional. He is skilled in many facets of orthopedic surgery and welcomes pediatric patients as well. Dr. Atteberry will be a wonderful addition to the other orthopedic specialists in our specialty clinic,” Block said.
Dr. Atteberry graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa and received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency with the University of Kansas Medical Center in orthopedic surgery. Dr. Atteberry completed a sports medicine fellowship training in Houston, Texas.
