DES MOINES AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE: Groundbreaking Ceremony Set for DMACC Carroll Campus Project

Des Moines Area Community College issued the following announcement on July 10.

Construction is underway on a $4.2 million building addition. 

WHO: DMACC President Rob Denson, Board Member Jim Knott and DMACC Carroll Campus Provost Joel Lundstrom will be joined by community leaders for a groundbreaking event that will start construction on a major new addition to the Carroll Campus. 

WHAT: The ceremony will also unveil details of the building expansion, and how students and the greater Carroll area will benefit from the multi-million dollar expansion. Site preparation is already underway. 

WHEN: 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 14                                      

WHERE: DMACC Carroll Campus

(On north side of building)

906 N. Grand Road

Carroll, IA                 

WHY: For more than five years, several DMACC career and technical programs have been offered in a building near downtown Carroll. This expansion project will bring new training facilities and community meeting space to the Carroll Campus.
