DENISON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: CDC Announces Date for Annual Meeting via ZOOM

Denison Chamber Of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 24. 

The Chamber and Development Council of Crawford County (CDC) has announced that it will be holding its Annual Meeting on Monday, July 13th, at 5pm virtually through ZOOM.  All CDC members are invited to attend and will receive an invite at their email address on file for their membership. If a member has not received an invite, they are encouraged to call the CDC office to update their information. Members are asked to RSVP by Monday, July 6th to the CDC office at 263-5621 or by emailing rdesy@cdcia.org.

The agenda includes an update from the Executive Director and the election of board members for a three year term from 2020-2023.

The Annual CDC Business Awards will also be presented.  The Innovators Award is given to a business that has been in existence for less than 5 years.  The Emerging Leaders Award recognizes a business that has been in operation for more than 5 and less than 20 years.  A business that has been in operation for 20 years or more is eligible to receive the Legacy Award.

Board member elections will be conducted through an online survey.   Corporate CDC sponsors include, Platinum Level: Bank Iowa, Cobalt Credit Union, Crawford County Memorial Hospital, KDSN and The Hoffman Agency; Gold Level: Cobblestone Inn & Suites-Majestic Hills & Oak Ridge Locations, Broadway Dental, COUNSEL, Smart Shopper,  Team Auto Group, United Bank of Iowa, Vision Care Clinic and Wells Fargo Bank; Bronze Level: APC, Inc., Computer Concepts of Iowa, Dairy Queen, Farmers Mutual Insurance Association, Healy Excavating, Hy-Vee, Lambert Family Chiropractic, Majestic Hills Golf Course & Grille, Western Iowa Tech Community College, Westside State Bank and Wireless World.
