City of Carroll issued the following announcement on May 7.
The City of Carroll has made the very hard decision to cancel boy’s and girl’s summer t-ball and baseball/softball programs. This is due to low registration numbers even after extending the registration period. This disappointing decision was made in conjunction with other communities in the area. At this time with social distancing, limited group numbers and not knowing when these restrictions could be lifted weighed in heavily on the decision. The City hopes to run other summer program such as youth tennis and golf. Decisions will be made on sufficient registration numbers and direction from Governor Kim Reynolds. The City will provide a full refund to our participants. Thank you for your understanding during this time.
