Carroll Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Jan. 23.
Kari is Director, RN at Garden View Assisted Living. She runs a 36-apartment Assisted Living building for seniors age 55 and older. Kari manages tenant health care, staffing, marketing and insurance while adhering to state regulations. A native of Manning, Kari and husband, Jack, have three children -- Miles, 11, Bennet, 9, and Eva, 6. They also have one giant dog, many cats and chickens. Through the leadership program, Kari hopes to gain a better sense of what Carroll County offers. Her work has always been with the elderly, so she knows the resources for that population, but is eager to learn about businesses that make Carroll County a diverse and vibrant place to live. Kari believes the Leadership program is a great opportunity to learn about groups, committees and boards that really make a difference in the area, and ways leaders can get involved and support them.
