Carroll Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
Collette is Nursing Instructor at Des Moines Area Community College. She works to inspire and guide the nurses of the future and make positive impacts on the healthcare system. She not only teaches nursing theory and clinical, but also serves on many curriculum committees. Collette, a native of Mitchell, South Dakota, graduated from Graceland University with a Master in Nursing Education. Through the leadership program, Collette hopes to gain knowledge about opportunities available throughout our community. She wants to develop relationships that allow her to not only be more involved in the community, but also provide resources for volunteer opportunities for nursing students.
